CROW & NORTHERN CHEYENNE

Healthy Mothers, Healthy Tribe (HMHT) Initiative
Between June 2017 and April 2018, CHEER worked in collaboration with the Indian Health Service to improve perinatal care at the Crow/ Northern Cheyenne Hospital in Crow Agency on the Crow Reservation (Crow Service Unit) and at the Northern Cheyenne Health Center in Lame Deer on the Northern Cheyenne Reservation (Northern Cheyenne Service Unit).  Particular focus was placed on improving prenatal care and preventing and treating illicit drug use in the perinatal period.
