CHEER and CHAMPS, along with our partners, participated in the American Public Health Association (APHA) 2019 Annual Meeting and Expo, November 2-6, 2019! The presentations at the Breastfeeding Oral Session: Supporting Breastfeeding from the Hospital to the Community, included:
- Using implementation science to evaluate Mississippi CHAMPS: A RE-AIM assessment
- Increasing breastfeeding rates and improving maternal child health practices in Mississippi hospitals: The CHAMPS initiative

CHAMPS presented their abstract entitled 'Communities and Hospitals Advancing Maternity Care Practices (CHAMPS) using a Curriculum on Safety' for the United States Breastfeeding Committee (USBC) Ninth National Breastfeeding Conference and Convening (NBCC 2019), held June 14-15, 2019, Breakout Panel Session! Thank you to CHAMPS' own Lori Feldman-Winter, Cathy Carothers, and Kimarie Bugg for submitting, and for presenting on behalf of the CHAMPS team.
